Golf Equipment
 |
Being a golfer does not simply involve
drivers, wedges and putters, there is also an
abundance of other golf equipment that enables the golfer to not only look
the part but
also perform at a high level and conveniently carry things that would
otherwise be very
awkward to transport. Some of the
golf equipment that is commonly carried
around or
found on the casual or professional golfer includes:
-Clubs
-Golf balls
-Golf bags
-Shoes
As well as a variety of other accessories. The various equipment that a
golfer carries,
usually reflect his game or style and in most cases, are suited to his or
her game or
preference, especially when it comes to clubs.
There are loads of golf clubs available on the market with an extensive
range of very
popular brand names. A seasoned golfer, who might have began playing with
a certain
brand of club because it was not very expensive, may have acquired a
liking for a specific
brand for some reason or another, whether it be comfort or performance.
The same
applies to golf balls as a seasoned golfer who has tried out many
different brands of balls
will likely have a preference for a specific kind.
Golf bags are another very important piece of equipment that most golfers
carry with
them. A golfer with a large number of clubs may opt for a large bag with a
wealth of
space. A pocket for carrying balls and tees is also very important. One
can see how
specific items cater to the individual needs of a golfer. Equally as
important as other
equipment is a golfer's shoes. Comfort is possibly the most desirable
feature in a shoe as
any discomfort during a 18-hole course can severely impair an individual's
game. Thus
the shoe must be very well cushioned and stable. At the same time a
golfer's shoes must
also be able to grip the course well as any slipping
can be detrimental.
