Golf Swing
One of the most important facets of the
game, the
golf swing can make or break your
entire game. If your swing is off it is likely that your ball will end up
in a very
disadvantageous position and hence, you will not be able to achieve a
desirable score.
The two main goals of the golf swing are distance and accuracy. These two
objectives
can be relatively hard to ascertain, as they require a lot of repetitive
practice. Every
player would like to land on the green every time they tee-off, thus
having a good swing
is a key element of the game. Of course there are many things that go into
perfecting the
golf swing, ranging from stance to grip.
Firstly, stance is quite possibly the most important attribute of your
swing. It should be
natural, that said, it obviously should not be slouching or some other
foolish position, but
what is meant by a natural stance is that it should not be too narrow or
too wide. Since the
continuation of your swing is entirely determined by your stance, it is
best that you stand
in such a way as to maximize your balance and shift your weight from your
back hip to
your front hip through your swing. Observing your position after you
follow through can
easily aid you in determining if you are standing correctly. Your keens
should be
together, in any other case, whether it be that your knees overlap or are
not at all close,
then you need to make the proper adjustment to your stance, being widen
your stance in
the first case and the opposite in the second case.
Aside from your stance, your swing and finishing position are also vitally
important.
After your swing your back toe should be on the ground, you weight should
be focused
on your front hip, your chest and back should be facing the direction of
the ball and your
hands should be over your front shoulder. The finishing position is just
as important as
the beginning stance and it should resemble that which was described
above..
